Turnlab is a company based in the centre of Antwerp (Belgium) specialised in pro audio equipment & instruments.
It allows you to route and merge other MIDI data from four USB MIDI ports and the onboard MIDI In with the accurate clock signals. To become the central connection hub of your setup, a powerful MIDI Router is available. If you then have found the sweet spot, you can add a bit of shuffle.
To compensate for any time lag of your connected gear, you can shift each of the four output channels individually and in realtime back and forth relative to the master clock. Basic principle is the ERM has a plug in which sits on a software instrument channel and sends a tone via designated outputs to the hardware device which then sends clock to drum machines etc. We use a hardware device called an ERM Multiclock which we have used for sometime. There is also an analogue LFO available with various waveforms and optional frequency quantization to connect to the Eurorack world. Analogue clock signals are configurable in polarity and start/reset behavior and individual clock dividers are available. Hi Guys having an issue since upgrading to 10.4.6. You can configure the modular clock output mode in every possible way: choose the polarities of the signals, select the start or reset behavior for each channel individually and set clock dividers. Each channel can be set to either emit MIDI, DIN sync or analogue clock. Synchronisation of the multiclock to a DAW relies on a sample accurate audio clock, which allows for rock solid sync signals. Logic is connected correctly because when I change the tempo, the bpm from the 'e-Multiclock’ keeps up with it.
A audio output signal being sent from my sound card into the 'e-Multiclock’ to get the sync. The multiclock can be it’s own master or synced to external MIDI, DIN sync or Analogue master clocks. Current cable set up Midi out from the OT going into the E-RM Multiclock.
